Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Chicago real estate and construction practice. The role focuses on advising developers, owners, contractors and lenders on complex real estate transactions and construction matters across commercial development, leasing and project delivery.

The team handles a broad range of matters including transactional work, contract negotiation and dispute avoidance strategies. This position offers a platform to grow or bring an established practice while working alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary team.

Open to candidates nationwide. The firm is interested in partners with a portable practice or demonstrable client origination capability.

Proven partner-level experience in real estate and/or construction law.
Track record of leading significant transactions and advising sophisticated clients.
Client origination and relationship-management capability; portable practice preferred.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills on contracts, construction documents and real estate agreements.
