Established national law firm is seeking a partner to lead and grow its Real Estate and Construction Litigation practice from the Portland (ME) office. The role will combine courtroom and transactional work, advising owners, contractors and developers on high-value construction disputes, contract issues and real estate-related litigation.

The successful candidate will join a cross-office team, take a leading role on client matters, mentor junior lawyers and help expand regional market presence. There is opportunity to build a portable practice and contribute to the firm’s business-development strategy.

Partner-level experience focused on construction litigation and real estate disputes
Proven trial, arbitration or contested-matter experience and strong written advocacy
Track record of client development and ability to grow a regional practice (portable book of business welcome)
Experience managing and mentoring associates and supporting cross-office collaboration
Bar admission in Maine or eligibility to transfer/admit
