Partner — Tax & Litigation, Kansas City

Well-established national law firm seeks a lateral partner to lead and expand the tax and litigation practice in its Kansas City office. This role combines client-facing litigation work with complex tax matters, handling both trial and advisory engagements.

The successful candidate will manage matters from intake through resolution, supervise associates, and work closely with cross-practice teams. There is a strong emphasis on business development and growing client relationships in the region.

• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
• Established partner-level experience in tax and litigation matters, including courtroom/trial exposure
• Proven business development record and client-management skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor associates and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to become admitted
