Well-established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Providence office to lead and grow a Tax and Litigation practice. The role combines courtroom and appellate work with tax controversy, planning and dispute resolution for corporate and individual clients.

The position offers client-facing responsibility, a leadership role within a mid-sized office, and collaboration with a broader national platform. The team handles contested matters and strategic tax advice across a range of industries.

Proven partner-level experience in tax-related litigation and controversy.
Strong trial and/or appellate experience, with a track record of handling contested matters.
Demonstrated client development and business generation; a portable practice is welcomed.
Ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers and work collaboratively across offices.
Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission.
