Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a Tax and Litigation practice in Southern Illinois. The role combines courtroom and advisory work on tax disputes, contested matters and related litigation for clients across the region.

The successful candidate will take a senior role in the office, handling complex matters, supervising junior lawyers, and contributing to practice development. This is an opportunity to build a visible regional practice with substantial autonomy and firm support.

Established partner-level experience in tax litigation and related dispute resolution.
Licensed to practice in the relevant Illinois jurisdiction(s); federal tax litigation experience preferred.
Proven ability to manage and mentor junior lawyers and oversee contentious matters.
Demonstrable business development capability; portable practice or client relationships desirable.
