We are seeking a highly motivated patent agent or advisor with substantive industry experience and a degree in software, computer science, or a related field to join a busy patent counseling, prosecution, and litigation practice. The role involves conducting prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses, analyzing patent and scientific documents to support patent prosecution and litigation, drafting patent applications and responses to office actions, and advising lawyers on technology issues.

The ideal candidate possesses broad scientific knowledge in computer science or electrical engineering, with expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning strongly preferred. The position requires superb technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English, initiative, and the ability to work well with others. Candidates must be eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam and meet the requirements for registration as a patent agent. Law school tuition assistance is available.

Degree in software, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
