A highly regarded law firm seeks a junior or mid-level associate to join its patent litigation team in Washington. The firm's intellectual property lawyers help clients develop, protect and leverage commercially valuable ideas and information, including patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets, to advance their business goals.

The patent litigation group provides sophisticated offensive and defensive representation in competitor-versus-competitor disputes and in defending lawsuits brought by non-practicing entities, navigating complex matters successfully and cost-effectively. Many team members hold advanced degrees in engineering and the sciences, enabling the group to quickly master clients' technologies.

Clients span virtually every sector of the global economy, including telecommunications providers, computer software and hardware companies, financial institutions, and manufacturers.

Junior or mid-level associate experience in patent litigation
Strong research, writing and analytical skills
Background in engineering or the sciences preferred
