Patent Litigation Associate

Our client, a leading law firm, seeks a junior- to mid-level patent litigation associate to join its Intellectual Property & Technology practice in Dallas. The role focuses on patent disputes before U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Ideal candidates will have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant industry experience is a plus. Admission to the Patent Bar is preferred but not required.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Admission to the Texas bar or eligibility to become admitted
• 1–4 years of patent litigation experience
• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent
• Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (Patent Bar) preferred
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
