Apply in confidence →Nationwide remote opportunity for an employment/labor attorney to handle pre-litigation matters on behalf of employer-side clients. The role focuses on responding to demand letters, records requests, agency/administrative charges and other pre-suit work, with opportunities to participate in mediations and settlement activity.
This is a non-partner track, exempt attorney role available in states where the hiring firm maintains an office. Candidates must be admitted and in good standing with the California bar and able to comply with all applicable ethical requirements.
- Admitted and in good standing with the California State Bar; must meet any resident-state ethical requirements.
- Associate-level consideration: minimum ~4 years of California employment litigation experience handling demand letters, records requests and agency/administrative charges.
- Of Counsel-level consideration: generally 9+ years of relevant California experience with demonstrated ability to operate in a first-chair capacity.
- Strong legal research, drafting and communication skills; experience handling high-volume document sets and competing deadlines.
- Client- and carrier-facing experience, including settlement negotiation and mediation exposure.
- Comfortable collaborating with legal support, operations and development teams; proficient with Microsoft Office.
