Senior real estate lawyer sought to join a national real estate practice in Leeds, focused on development and investment work. The role will advise developers, investors, funders and occupiers across the full development lifecycle, from conditional land acquisitions and pre-let agreements through to forward funding, construction contracting and disposal of completed investments.

The team offers multi-disciplinary support (planning, environmental, construction, tax and banking) and handles complex, sector-led matters across industrial, office, logistics, retail and living sectors. The role will involve transactional drafting and negotiation, project structuring and providing commercial, risk-focused legal advice.

8+ years PQE in real estate law (development and investment experience essential).
Proven track record across the full development lifecycle: conditional land acquisitions, pre-lets, forward funding, construction agreements and purchase/disposal work.
Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills; comfortable working with multi-disciplinary specialists and client stakeholders.
Self-motivated, client-focused and able to manage complex matters with minimal supervision.
