A senior role for an experienced pensions lawyer to join a large, market-leading UK pensions team that operates across multiple offices. The team advises trustees, sponsors, insurers and other industry participants on the full range of occupational pension scheme issues and risk-transfer transactions.

The role will involve advising on trustee and sponsor matters, preparing benefit specifications and scheme documentation, leading risk-transfer and liability-reduction exercises, and working on scheme restructurings, wind-ups and investment arrangements. Senior associates are expected to contribute to business development and profile-raising activities as well as supervise junior lawyers.

Qualified Solicitor with c.6+ years PQE and substantial UK occupational pensions experience.
Proven track record advising trustees and sponsoring employers, including leading pensions risk-transfer/bulk annuity projects.
Experience supervising and managing junior lawyers and working collaboratively across specialist teams.
Strong technical knowledge of pensions legislation, drafting skills, commercial awareness and experience in business development and client relationship management.
