Apply in confidence →A lateral partner hire of this kind turns on what actually moves with you, not on a headline number.
A leading full-service firm is seeking a lateral partner for its premier Private Client Services practice, focused exclusively on ultra-high-net-worth individuals. This is a sophisticated trusts and estates litigation practice with a strong national profile, and the firm is particularly interested in adding talent in South Florida (Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami).
The ideal candidate will have a genuine, gate-level focus on ultra-high-net-worth clients—not general trusts and estates work—and bring a well-established, portable book of business. You will have the opportunity to handle both your own matters and overflow work from a busy group, with access to the firm's proprietary family-office platform as a key selling point for your clients.
The firm operates a C-corporation structure with no capital contribution required to join and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that rewards cross-selling and credit-sharing. A two-year integration program supports your transition, backed by a virtually uncapped marketing budget.
- Lateral partner with a practice genuinely focused on ultra-high-net-worth individuals (trusts and estates litigation preferred, planning also relevant)
- Own portable book of business, well established over the last three years
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and willing to share credit and leverage the firm's cross-marketing and family-office platform
- Licensed and able to practice in the United States
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
