Apply in confidence →This remains an active partner-level search, handled confidentially. The requirement is re-confirmed each cycle with the client, and the detail below reflects the current brief.
We are seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow our private credit practice, representing lenders in complex financings across the firm's US, European, and Middle Eastern offices. The ideal candidate brings a strong portable book of business and deep experience on the lender side of direct lending, including financings for troubled or insolvent companies.
Working closely with our restructuring and private equity teams, you will advise on rescue financings, debtor-in-possession lending, distressed debt transactions, and conventional private credit matters. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across practices and jurisdictions, capture more of the high-value matters flowing through our platform, and share in the financial success you generate.
We are investing in restructuring, private credit, and private equity, and we seek collaborative partners who can build with us, bring their own relationships, and help expand our international reach — including in markets such as the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
- Experienced lender-side lawyer representing private credit funds or direct lenders in financings of troubled or financially stressed companies (rescue, DIP, distressed lending)
- Conventional private credit and direct lending experience also welcome; candidates need not specialize exclusively in distress or special situations
- Strong technical skills and a collaborative approach, with the ability to work alongside restructuring and private equity teams
- Willingness to build a practice within a global platform and contribute to cross-border and multi-jurisdiction matters
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
