Join a global firm's New York corporate team focused on private equity and M&A. The role involves working on buyouts, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, growth investments and related transactional matters for sponsor and institutional clients and their portfolio companies.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on role on deal teams: drafting and negotiating acquisition, equity and investment agreements and other transaction documents; coordinating due diligence and related workstreams; and owning deal processes from structuring and negotiation through signing and closing.

This is a mid-level position for candidates with strong technical drafting skills, commercial judgment, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a collaborative environment. Applicants must be an active member of the New York State Bar.

4–6 years of M&A/transactional experience, with private equity or sponsor-side work preferred
Proven drafting and negotiation experience with acquisition, equity and investment agreements
Experience managing due diligence and coordinating deal workstreams as a key member of transaction teams
Active member of the New York State Bar
