Top-tier public M&A team in New York is seeking a mid-to-senior associate with 3–6 years of transactional experience to join its Global M&A group. The role focuses on M&A transactions involving public companies and associated securities-law work, with the opportunity to work across technology, life sciences, real estate and financial services matters.

The successful candidate will handle both sell-side and buy-side public-company deals, work on complex, high‑profile transactions, and act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients. The team offers significant deal exposure and the chance to build versatile transactional skills within a collaborative, cross-practice environment.

Candidates should bring strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, a current bar admission (or immediate eligibility), and a clear deal sheet documenting relevant public M&A experience.

3–6 years of M&A/transactional experience, with emphasis on public-company deals
Substantive experience with securities-law aspects of public M&A (sell-side and buy-side)
Experience with or interest in Technology and/or Life Sciences transactions preferred
Outstanding academic record, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bar admission in good standing (or ability to obtain promptly) and a detailed deal sheet
