An established law firm has an opening in its New York office for an associate in the Real Estate Department. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of relevant experience.

The role focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and drafting lease agreements, purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, and related legal instruments. The associate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful transaction outcomes and will provide advice and representation in regulatory, land use, and municipal hearings.

Candidates should demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with a strong academic record and attention to detail. Experience in commercial real estate transactions is preferred, and regulatory, licensing, or land use experience is a plus.

Juris Doctor (JD) required
Must be licensed in the State of New York
