Seeking a partnership-track associate to join a busy real estate practice in Richmond. The role focuses on transactional matters including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, joint ventures, and debt or equity financings.

The team handles large-scale, often complex real estate transactions for a broad client base; the successful candidate will work collaboratively on deals from diligence through closing and contribute to drafting and negotiation.

Virginia bar membership is preferred and must be obtained within one year of hire. The office is an equal opportunity and drug-free workplace.

Minimum 2 years of real estate transactional experience (acquisitions, dispositions, development, joint ventures, or debt/equity transactions)
Strong academic background and excellent analytical and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on deal teams and manage transaction workflow
Virginia bar membership preferred; required within one year of start
