A leading US law firm seeks a motivated attorney for a unique pro bono fellowship in its Richmond office. The role is ideal for candidates interested in a career in public interest law.

The Fellow will represent pro bono clients through the firm's Church Hill office and at a local legal aid society in Richmond, with time split roughly 50/50 between the two. The Fellow will handle matters across various public interest areas, including landlord-tenant disputes, protective orders, guardianships, and uncontested divorces, with extensive opportunities for courtroom appearances and substantive legal development.

The Fellow will be fully integrated into the firm and its litigation team, receiving mentorship from firm lawyers and legal aid attorneys, and will have access to the same training, associate development, and social opportunities as firm associates. The fellowship concludes in December 2028, with an immediate start available for licensed attorneys; candidates awaiting bar admission must be admitted to the Virginia State Bar by December 15, 2026, and begin by January 2027.
