We are a leading international law firm seeking a Referendar (m/f/d) for our Energy, Corporate/M&A practice group in Berlin, starting October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded team advising energy companies, financial investors, and public-sector clients on a broad range of energy-sector matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the team on energy regulatory, corporate, and M&A transactions
Advising on project development, particularly in renewable energy
Working on grid regulation, storage, and unbundling issues
Handling dispute resolution related to long-term power and gas supply agreements
Collaborating closely with colleagues across our German and international offices

Current legal traineeship (Referendariat) with a strong academic background
Interest in energy law, corporate law, and M&A
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Very good command of English; German is a plus
High motivation and willingness to take responsibility
