About the role

We are seeking a legal professional to join our Berlin office as a Scientific Assistant (m/f/d) within the Capital Markets practice area. In this role, you will support our team in advising clients on a broad range of capital markets matters, including debt and equity offerings, structured finance, securitization, derivatives, and other financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

Assist in advising on capital markets transactions, including bonds, IPOs, capital increases, and spin-offs.
Support structured finance and securitization projects.
Advise on derivatives and portfolio transactions.
Engage with clients in the financial sector, including clearing houses and their members.
Work closely with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Excellent academic record.
Strong interest in capital markets law and related financial regulatory matters.
Solid understanding of economic contexts and commercial drivers.
Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
Proactive personality with strong teamwork and communication skills.
