Apply in confidence →We are seeking a mid-level Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate Sustainability Team within a leading Regulatory Disputes practice. This role focuses on advising multinational businesses on circular economy, packaging and EPR, and supply chain due diligence, with additional opportunities in food and life sciences.
Sustainability regulation is evolving rapidly, and this position offers the chance to be at the forefront, advising major national and international businesses on compliance, risk, and enforcement. The team acts across the full lifecycle of regulatory risk, including new UK and EU sustainability provisions, due diligence systems, preventative compliance, investigations, and regulator engagement.
Key areas include circular economy (sustainable batteries, right to repair, eco-design, circular economy act), packaging and EPR (packaging waste, textiles, batteries, WEEE, design and labelling, green claims), and supply chain transparency (deforestation, forced labour, CSDDD, digital product passports, critical raw materials). Additional experience in food law, life sciences, or REACH is welcome.
The practice is an international, cross-functional team combining environmental, product, advertising, and commercial lawyers on multi-jurisdictional projects. This role sits within Regulatory Disputes, part of a wider Disputes & Risk practice, offering a collaborative culture with clear opportunities for responsibility and client exposure.
- Mid-level Associate with experience in regulatory disputes and compliance.
- Background in corporate sustainability, environmental law, or related regulatory fields.
- Experience advising on circular economy, packaging/EPR, and supply chain due diligence is advantageous.
- Additional experience in food law, life sciences, or REACH would be of interest.
- Comfortable navigating evolving regulatory frameworks and providing concise, commercially grounded advice under time pressure.
- Strong client care, initiative, and business development contributions.
