Reps & Warranties Insurance Staff Attorney — New York

Seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join a large representations & warranties insurance (RWI) underwriting team in New York. The team handles a high volume of private M&A underwriting matters, advising insurers on policy issuance and supporting deal parties on RWI procurement.

Day-to-day work includes reviewing and analyzing private M&A transaction documentation and due diligence, coordinating with subject-matter experts to identify deal risks, drafting and issuing RWI coverage positions, and liaising with underwriters and brokers. The role requires strong organization, responsiveness under deal timelines, and excellent written and oral communication.

This is an immediate need; compensation is listed at $250,000–$400,000 base (commensurate with experience), plus discretionary bonus.

• Minimum 4 years of corporate/M&A or other transactional experience.
• Experience reviewing private M&A documentation, due diligence, and transactional risk analysis.
• Familiarity with representations & warranties insurance underwriting or procuring/negotiating RWI preferred.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines on deal timelines; strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort coordinating with subject-matter experts and cultivating relationships with underwriters and brokers.
