Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate (Los Angeles)

We are seeking a finance associate in law school class years 2019 through 2023 to join our market-leading Business Restructuring & Reorganization team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience representing creditors or borrowers in connection with liability management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and/or special situations financings.

Associates will have the opportunity to work on high-profile, top-of-the-capital-structure representations, including representing hedge funds, collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), private equity funds, and other financial institutions in both chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3–5 years of experience (law school class years 2019–2023) in restructuring and finance matters, with a focus on creditor or borrower representations.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
