Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate — Palo Alto

Top-tier law firm is seeking a finance associate to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in Palo Alto. The role focuses on restructuring-related finance work, including DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, liability management and other special-situations financings.

Successful candidates will work on matters for creditors and borrowers, advising financial institutions such as hedge funds, CLOs and private equity funds in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

• Law school class years 2019–2023 (entry-level associate range)
• Experience on liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings or special-situations financings
• Familiarity with Chapter 11 processes and distressed-debt matters
• Strong drafting, analytical skills and ability to work in a team on complex, time-sensitive matters
