We are seeking a scientific assistant (m/f/d) for our banking regulatory practice in Frankfurt, starting December 2026. This role offers challenging consulting work, a top-tier reputation, and excellent development opportunities within an international law firm.

You will support our team in advising banks, financial services providers, insurers, and trading platforms on the latest German and European regulatory developments. Your work will include reviewing new business models, advising international clients on market entry in Germany (including Brexit-related matters), assisting with licensing procedures for credit institutions, and supporting M&A transactions involving banks, financial service providers, insurers, and trading venues. You will also be involved in internal investigations, compliance advice, and anti-money-laundering matters.

We are looking for candidates with excellent academic credentials, strong analytical skills, and a keen interest in the intersection of law and business. Very good English skills are required. We value personality, motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will be fully integrated into our team from day one and will work on exciting client matters. During your traineeship, you will receive targeted training, individual mentoring, and the opportunity to develop personally. You will also have the chance to participate in our trainee program, Colleagues of Tomorrow.
