Seeking a securities attorney to join a busy corporate group in the Chicago office. The role focuses on SEC reporting, public offerings and related securities matters for public-company clients.

The team provides collaborative, partner-led work and opportunities to take direct responsibility for client matters. Ideal candidates will be comfortable handling a mix of disclosure, transactional and governance matters for issuers and advising on listing and compliance obligations.

Minimum ~4 years' securities/SEC reporting experience.
Demonstrated drafting of periodic reports (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), Section 16 filings and proxy disclosures.
Experience with Securities Act matters including IPOs, secondary offerings and shelf registrations.
Advising on corporate governance and stock-exchange listing requirements.
Strong writing, research and analytical skills; able to manage client work independently and as part of a team.
Admitted and in good standing in the relevant state bar or eligible for bar admission by reciprocity/waiver.
