Senior associate role in a growing US private client & tax practice focusing on sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. The team delivers cross-border, tax-aware wealth transfer and trust solutions and is expanding its US capability.

The role centres on drafting bespoke estate documents (wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds and funding schedules), preparing complete planning packages, and supporting implementation with advisers and clients.

You will contribute to template and process improvement, use estate-planning software and firm precedents, assist with trust administration matters as needed, and ensure compliance with applicable state regulations. The position follows a hybrid working model.

  • Admitted to the Connecticut or New York bar with willingness to obtain the other jurisdiction
  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience drafting estate planning documents in a law firm or specialist environment
  • Deep knowledge of trust & estate administration and tax planning for high-net-worth clients; LL.M. in Taxation a plus
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and client-service skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using estate-planning software and managing document/version control
