We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a leading catastrophic injury and large loss practice, working on complex travel claims across UK and international jurisdictions. This is a multi-office opportunity open to candidates in either of the firm's UK offices.

The team handles the full spectrum of defending complex travel claims, including large loss and catastrophic injury matters, complex illness claims, class actions, fatal accidents, agency claims and indemnity/recovery actions. Additional work spans travel abuse, travel fraud, baggage claims, and international regulatory and cross-border road traffic matters.

The successful candidate will act predominantly on behalf of insurers and self-insured commercial organisations, managing a varied caseload with proactive, strategic file management and a strong commitment to client service and technical excellence.

Around 5+ years' PQE (guidance only; all suitable candidates considered)
Significant experience in complex travel litigation and cross-border claims
Experience of personal injury litigation
Strong investigation skills, including taking witness statements and reviewing medical records and reports
Ability to manage court timetables, interlocutory proceedings, CCMCs and client meetings
Client-focused with a commitment to SLAs and management information requirements
Determined and adaptable in a demanding, fast-paced team
Capacity to supervise, coach and develop junior lawyers
