We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a growing Employment practice in Sydney, working within a global team that advises on advisory, transactional and contentious employment matters. The group provides coordinated, cross-border support and partners closely with corporate, finance, restructuring and disputes teams across jurisdictions on complex, high-risk and multi-jurisdictional issues.

The client base is diverse and international, spanning private capital sponsors, corporate enterprises, asset managers, multinational groups, financial institutions and insurers. You will advise across the full spectrum of employment issues, including employment litigation, mediation and dispute resolution; contracts and policies; appointment and severance of senior executives; outsourcing; discrimination and equal opportunities; new and proposed legislation; downsizing and dismissals; protection of confidentiality and goodwill; employment aspects of M&A transactions; and employee and regulatory investigations.

4+ years' PQE
Australian qualification preferred; England & Wales or other Commonwealth qualifications considered
Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters from a top-tier practice
Self-starter with an aptitude for and experience in client engagement and development, and interest in helping grow a practice
Strong drafting, legal research, commercial judgment and matter management skills
