Join a market-leading Energy & Sustainability team advising across the energy transition, with a strong focus on heat networks, renewable generation, battery storage, EV infrastructure, utility connections and large-scale retrofit programmes.

The role will involve advising developers, landlords and operators on project contracts, regulatory compliance, utility/connection arrangements, PPA/heat supply agreements and grant‑funded or financed decarbonisation schemes. You will work closely with real estate, construction, planning, corporate and banking colleagues on cross‑disciplinary transactions.

This is a hands‑on senior associate role for an experienced energy lawyer who can manage complex technical matters and contribute to business development and client relationships.

Minimum 4 years' post‑qualification experience in energy/utility work
Experience advising on regulatory issues for electricity, gas and heat networks
Practical experience on renewable projects (solar, wind), battery storage, EV infrastructure and utility connections
Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills; commercial awareness and client focus
Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritise to deadlines and work across multidisciplinary teams
Excellent academic record and demonstrable drive
