Top-tier international law firm is seeking a senior associate to join its Environment, Energy & Resources team. The role focuses on high‑stakes work at the intersection of large-scale digital infrastructure and the energy transition, with opportunities to lead complex transactional and regulatory matters.

You will take primary responsibility for drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements, energy service agreements and interconnection arrangements for developers, utilities and corporate buyers; advise on RTO/ISO market design and participation; and represent clients in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The role also involves contributing to practice development and mentoring junior lawyers.

  • Approximately 6+ years of energy law experience, with substantial transactional and/or regulatory practice
  • Deep knowledge of the Federal Power Act, wholesale power markets, and power transaction structures
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and regulatory filings with minimal supervision
  • JD from an accredited law school and admission (or eligibility to waive in) to practice in the office jurisdiction
