Senior Associate role within a national Environment, Planning & Communities team based in Perth. You will advise on environmental approvals, land access, native title and Indigenous cultural heritage matters across major projects in energy, resources, infrastructure and government sectors.

The role combines transactional, regulatory and contentious work — including impact assessment and approvals, compliance and incident response, and support on M&A, project finance and procurement. Expect exposure to cross-jurisdictional clients and market‑leading ESG and energy transition matters.

The team offers structured learning, client-facing responsibility and opportunities to develop business development and client management skills within a collaborative national practice.

  • Australian or New Zealand practising certificate.
  • Substantive experience in land access/acquisition, environment and planning, regulatory approvals, native title and/or Indigenous cultural heritage.
  • Strong academic record, excellent drafting and advisory skills, and ability to manage complex legal issues.
  • Proactive, commercial mindset; able to work to tight deadlines both independently and in teams; interest in emerging technologies and AI.
