A leading global firm seeks a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Environment, Planning and Communities team in Perth. You will work closely with a nationally ranked practitioner in environment, climate change, planning, native title and heritage law, gaining exposure to the mining, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure and industrial/environmental advisory sectors.

The role spans front-end and contentious work, offering comprehensive project development, compliance, transactional and strategic advice to international, major domestic and government clients. You will help clients navigate complex environmental, social and land access challenges with pragmatic, commercially astute solutions.

You will benefit from exceptional learning opportunities on market-first projects and work alongside clients at the forefront of ESG and energy transition. Direct exposure and support are provided to build your client management and business development skills within a collaborative, growing team operating with a national focus.

Australian or New Zealand practising certificate, with demonstrated legal experience in land access and acquisition, environment and planning, regulatory approvals, native title and/or Indigenous cultural heritage.
Strong academic record combined with excellent legal skills and a practical mindset.
Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex legal matters.
Proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of a leading, supportive team.
Capability to work effectively within tight timeframes, both collaboratively and autonomously.
