A highly regarded healthcare legal team is seeking a Senior Associate to join its employer's liability and public liability practice in Birmingham, with the role offered on a hybrid working pattern.

You will manage a varied caseload of fast-track and multi-track EL/PL claims, supporting key NHS and healthcare clients, and gaining exposure to complex, sensitive and high-profile matters. The team provides specialist legal services to NHS Resolution, NHS trusts, medical malpractice insurers, independent hospital groups, clinics and healthcare practitioners, handling claims involving complex legal, medical and factual issues.

This is an opportunity for a lawyer with EL/PL litigation experience to develop their career within a leading healthcare legal team that combines local knowledge with national and international expertise.

8–10+ years' PQE with relevant experience
Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
Litigation experience in employer's and public liability
Experience managing your own caseload
Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
A practical, client-focused approach
Confidence working with supervision on complex matters
