We are recruiting a Solicitor to join a well-established industrial disease litigation team in Birmingham. The team handles a full range of industrial disease work, predominantly for large insurer clients and some self-insured corporate clients.

Initially, you will manage your own modest caseload of litigated noise-induced hearing loss and asbestos-related injury claims, while supporting senior colleagues on more complex, higher-value work. You will work alongside fee earners at all levels within an experienced team.

The role offers varied, hands-on litigation work with direct client contact and involvement in business development and client relationship initiatives.

Qualified Solicitor, 0-3+ years PQE
Experience of NIHL, HAVS/WRULD and asbestos-related injury claims preferred
Demonstrated litigation experience with strong technical ability and a record of achievement
Ability to manage a caseload independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines and targets
Commercial, solution-driven and client-focused approach with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organisation, communication, interpersonal and IT skills
Team player with a flexible, adaptable attitude
Experience of business development activities advantageous
