Senior Associate, Immigration — Birmingham

Senior role in a nationally recognised UK immigration practice advising corporate and private clients on complex cross-border and domestic immigration matters. The team works closely with Employment, Tax and Corporate colleagues to deliver integrated mobility and compliance solutions.

The post-holder will manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision, including sponsor licence applications and compliance, Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility matters, right to work audits, Home Office investigations, and personal applications such as ILR and naturalisation. The role offers responsibility for high-value matters and opportunities to contribute to practice growth.

• SRA-qualified solicitor or equivalent UK immigration accreditation.
• Proven experience at senior associate level handling complex corporate and private immigration matters.
• Strong technical knowledge of sponsor licence management, Skilled Worker and mobility routes, right to work compliance, ILR and nationality applications.
• Demonstrable client relationship skills, business development experience and ability to work with senior in-house stakeholders and HR teams.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team knowledge initiatives.
