Senior Associate (Insurance) — Sydney

We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with at least 4 years' PQE to join our Insurance practice in Sydney. Working closely alongside a highly regarded partner, you will advise leading local and international insurers on complex insurance matters, defending claims and complaints against a range of professionals, and handling regulatory investigations and inquiries.

You will gain broad exposure to contentious and non-contentious coverage issues across financial lines, warranty & indemnity and cyber, while managing professional liability litigation in the Supreme and Federal Courts. You'll manage complex coverage matters with appropriate supervision, run insurance litigation matters, assist corporations and individuals responding to regulatory investigations, work on high-value professional liability and D&O disputes, handle subrogated recoveries for insurers, and build strong relationships with insurers and reinsurers in Australia and internationally.

• At least 4+ years' PQE with relevant defendant insurance and coverage experience
• Confidence to manage matters with autonomy while working under supervision
