Nationally integrated healthcare litigation team is hiring an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its Australia practice (flexible across Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney or remote). The role focuses on defendant-side healthcare and medical negligence matters, including complex, high-value and sensitive disputes.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the region and globally, take on strategic and intellectually challenging work, and play a visible role in the growth of the national practice. The team offers mentoring responsibilities and development support, and is open to discussions with candidates seeking a clear pathway to partnership.

Senior Associate or Special Counsel level (or equivalent) with established litigation experience
Strong defendant-side experience in healthcare / medical negligence matters
Proven ability to manage complex, high-value litigation matters independently
Commercial judgement, excellent technical litigation skills and client-focused approach
Collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor junior lawyers
