Senior Associate, Technology (Sydney)

Senior Associate role within a market-leading Technology, Communications & Commercial practice based in Sydney. The team advises on complex, cross-border technology and digital matters for major corporate and multinational clients, with strong global collaboration and high-profile transactional and regulatory work.

This is a hands-on role offering direct client exposure, responsibility on significant matters, and clear progression supported by structured learning, mentoring and international secondment opportunities. The team covers technology contracting, outsourcing, data/privacy compliance and digital regulation across sector-specific and cross-border deals.

• 5-8 years' post-qualification experience in technology/communications/commercial work.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating technology contracts, procurement and supplier agreements.
• Experience advising on data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and/or telecommunications or online safety regulation desirable.
• Strong commercial judgment, drafting, research and client relationship skills; ability to work collaboratively across offices and time zones.
• Qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction and eligible to practise in Australia.
