Senior attorney role on a national firm’s Venture Capital Debt team in New York, supporting venture debt, growth capital and related financings for early- and late-stage companies. The position focuses on borrower- and investor-side representation across a range of venture-backed financings.

Day-to-day work includes negotiating and drafting loan and collateral documents, advising on transaction structure, supporting deal execution and maintaining/updating internal form sets. The role will partner closely with corporate, M&A, emerging companies and sector teams.

The team leverages document automation and AI-driven models to accelerate markups of term sheets, credit agreements, collateral documents and customary credit deliverables.

Significant experience representing borrowers and investors in venture debt, growth capital or similar financings
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for loan agreements, security instruments, certificates and ancillary credit documents
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with M&A, corporate and industry teams
Familiarity with document automation and AI-assisted drafting workflows
Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in New York
