An established law firm is seeking an experienced senior litigation associate to join its Detroit office. The role sits within a commercial litigation practice and offers substantial responsibility in complex, high-stakes matters.

The position involves drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, conducting depositions, and appearing in court to argue motions. The successful candidate will also take a leading or secondary role in trials and arbitration hearings, and will help develop, research, and execute overall case strategy.

At least 6 years of complex litigation experience
Experience drafting pleadings and dispositive motions
Courtroom experience, including arguing motions
Experience handling depositions
First- or second-chair trial and arbitration hearing experience

Superior research and persuasive writing ability
Strong analytical and communication skills
