An established immigration-focused law firm seeks a business immigration associate to join its Detroit office. This role offers the opportunity to practice exclusively in immigration law within a collegial, team-oriented environment, learning from leading industry experts and supported by cutting-edge technology.

The associate will serve as a senior member of client teams, independently overseeing and managing assignments with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include researching complex immigration issues, developing creative solutions and case strategies, executing case preparation and filing, and building strong client relationships with key stakeholders.

The position also involves supervising and mentoring junior associates and staff, ensuring compliance with firm protocols, meeting productivity goals, and contributing to business development and process improvement initiatives.

U.S. JD or LLM required
Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association
3–5 years of experience at the associate level
Exceptional working knowledge of immigration law
Prior team management experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
Dedication to exceptional client service and attention to detail
