Senior M&A Associate — Technology, San Francisco

Leading US law firm seeks a senior associate to join a busy Technologies Companies M&A team in the San Francisco office. The role focuses on buy- and sell-side M&A for technology companies, advising both early- and late-stage issuers and venture capital investors.

Successful candidates will handle significant portions of transactions independently while collaborating on deal teams, and will manage relationships with internal and external counsel and clients. The team values proactive lawyers with strong commercial judgment and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Relevant bar admission (or the ability to obtain admission promptly) is required.

• Substantial M&A experience, including working on and managing components of complex transactions
• Experience representing technology companies across early- and late-stage financings and exits and/or representing venture capital investors
• Demonstrated ability to manage deal workstreams and coordinate with internal and external teams
• Outstanding academic credentials and prior comparable law firm experience
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
