Senior M&A Associate — Technology, Silicon Valley

A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a senior associate to join its Technology Companies M&A group in Silicon Valley. The role offers substantial responsibility within a collaborative and entrepreneurial practice that brings together lawyers and professional staff across practice areas and geographies.

The successful candidate will work on complex transactions and manage components of deals independently while operating as part of integrated teams. The practice supports both early- and late-stage technology companies and venture capital investors on a wide range of acquisitions and strategic transactions.

This position is best suited to a proactive lawyer with strong business judgment and a demonstrated ability to manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

• Significant M&A experience, preferably with both early- and late-stage technology companies and venture capital investor clients
• Proven ability to work within teams and independently manage components of transactions
• Proactive approach with strong business sense
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Active bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required
