Senior Solicitor – Catastrophic Injury

Join our national Large Loss team, providing expert legal services on claims involving the most severe injuries and complex technical insurance work. The team handles claims reserved at over £350,000, representing more than £800 million in client reserves, and covers a varied caseload including motor, employers’ liability, public liability, and product liability. Typical cases involve brain, spinal, and amputation injuries, as well as substantial dependency fatality claims.

As a Senior Solicitor, you will assist a partner and manage your own caseload of catastrophic and high-value personal injury cases. You’ll be involved in initial investigations, client reporting, internal strategy, evidence gathering, expert instructions, court attendance, and the supervision of junior team members.

This is a hybrid working role based in Liverpool.

• Qualified solicitor with 2–10 years’ PQE.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Large Loss claims.
• Experience managing a defendant personal injury litigation caseload (motor or EL/PL preferred); high-value Large Loss experience not strictly necessary.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to adapt to varied tasks.
• Conscientious, self-motivated, and highly organised, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines, targets, and client protocols while maintaining high accuracy and quality.
• Strong IT skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Passionate about service delivery, client experience, and generating work opportunities.
