Solicitor — Asbestos & Occupational Disease (Litigation)

Join a nationally recognised personal injury practice as a Solicitor in the Asbestos & Occupational Disease team. This role is open to candidates based in Sheffield or Manchester and will involve working on a varied litigated caseload alongside specialist colleagues in other regional offices.

You will handle cases involving asbestos-related and other workplace respiratory conditions, taking ownership of your own files while supporting senior lawyers on higher-value or complex matters. The team provides a supportive, inclusive environment with hybrid working options and a focus on colleague wellbeing and community engagement.

• 1–5 years PQE with experience in asbestos or occupational disease litigation
• Proven ability to manage a litigated caseload and progress matters independently
• Strong client-facing skills with empathy when dealing with vulnerable clients and families
• Excellent drafting, advocacy, and legal research skills; comfortable assisting on higher-value/complex matters
• Interest in business development and building referrer/client relationships
