An exciting opportunity exists for a solicitor to join a Band 1, award-winning Class Actions and Dispute Resolution team based in Melbourne, working closely with leading partners and lawyers across a national and international group.

You will handle a range of work supporting national and international clients, with a focus on class action matters and commercial litigation, including commercial and corporate disputes and contentious regulatory investigations and enforcement matters.

This role offers responsibility for contributing to excellent client service, handling files, identifying issues and proactively providing solutions, with extensive client exposure and opportunities to develop a strong network of relationships. You will be a key member of a highly motivated and innovative team, working alongside colleagues in interstate and international offices.

Australian or New Zealand practising certificate
2+ years' legal experience
Demonstrable experience in delivering technical advice on a range of commercial litigation or class actions matters from a leading top tier, national or international private practice, or in-house environment
Excellent academic record with strong legal skills and a practical mindset
Proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of a supportive team
Ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously
Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team
Hunger to learn and develop, and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice
Innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies
