Our client, a premier global law firm, is seeking a skilled Corporate Associate with two to five years of experience to join its mergers and acquisitions practice in New York. This role focuses primarily on strategic and public company M&A, rather than private equity work, and offers the opportunity to work with autonomy within a dynamic and growing team.

Handle private and public company M&A transactions with significant responsibility, including running deals and managing high-level tasks.
Represent clients in a broad range of industries on transactional matters, including takeover defense and shareholder activism.
Apply a business development-oriented mindset, with a strong understanding of corporate law, market terms, and effective deal management.

Ideal candidates will have U.S. law firm experience, outstanding academics, and be admitted to the New York State Bar in good standing. A cover letter, resume, deal sheet, and law school transcript are required.

Two to five years of M&A experience at a U.S. law firm.
Substantial experience handling private and public company M&A transactions, including deal management.
Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
