Tax Associate (New York)

We are seeking associates to join a prestigious and growing tax practice in New York. The role involves working on sophisticated tax matters, including strategic and private equity M&A transactions, capital markets (including spin-offs and IPOs), investment fund formation, and real estate matters.

The tax group emphasizes interpersonal skills and direct client interaction, public speaking, and in-office collaboration. Candidates should be enthusiastic about engaging with clients and colleagues face-to-face.

• Law school class years 2019 to 2022
• Experience with strategic and private equity M&A transactions, capital markets (including spin-offs and IPOs), investment fund formation, and/or real estate matters
• Class-year appropriate understanding of technical aspects of tax law, including research and writing abilities
• Outstanding oral communication and analytical skills
• Top academic credentials
• Ability and desire to think creatively about complex and novel problems
