We are seeking an experienced US immigration attorney to join a busy consular and document practice within an international immigration team, supporting matters across the EMEA region. This is an expression-of-interest opportunity for future openings, with permanent or fixed-term contracts available across several European office locations.

The role involves providing US legal advice in connection with US Consular Services, including non-immigrant and immigrant visa appointment preparation, troubleshooting, and US citizen services. You will work closely with client contacts and colleagues on complex consular cases, advising on refusal risks, processing trends, and criminal matters, and liaising directly with US Embassies and Consulates.

Day to day you will manage allocated client accounts and their active and inactive matters, develop and troubleshoot case strategy, review documents submitted by assignees, and supervise paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation. You will also review paralegal-drafted documents for legal compliance and quality, and draft correspondence to clients on complex matters.

The team delivers stand-alone consular and substantive immigration support or integrates it into larger immigration application processes, with an emphasis on efficiency, ownership, and empowering team members to design work practices that meet client expectations.

Member of a US State Bar Association
Experience in business immigration law
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional language capabilities preferred
