An internationally recognized corporate practice is seeking an associate with two to seven years of capital markets and public securities experience to join its San Francisco team.

The role involves representing companies and underwriters in public securities offerings — including IPOs and other equity or equity-linked transactions — with a focus on the technology, consumer/retail and life sciences sectors. The associate will also advise public companies on corporate governance, SEC and exchange reporting and compliance, and will manage client relationships and day-to-day workflow for a range of sophisticated clients.

The position offers significant responsibility and direct client contact within a collaborative, market-leading practice.

Two to seven years of capital markets and public securities experience
Experience representing companies and/or underwriters in public offerings, including IPOs and equity or equity-linked transactions
Experience advising public companies on corporate governance and SEC/exchange reporting and compliance
Prior experience in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm
Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle varied workflow demands
